چکیده
Abstract The objective of this study is to describe the agronomic attributes SCS443 Isadora apple tree cultivar and highlight its potential use in Brazil. Obtained by hybridization made at Epagri 2001 between ‘Imperatriz’ ‘Cripps Pink’, after 20 years evaluations carried out Caçador-SC Fraiburgo-SC, ‘SCS443 Isadora’ was originated. This has a wide plasticity adaptation southern Brazilian climate due medium chilling requirement overcome dormancy. It greater resistance main diseases than cv. Gala fruit harvest later Fuji. Its apples have red skin firm flesh (=18 lb), with high sugar content (= 14.5 %) very crunchy juicy texture, as well storage ability post-harvesting. can be stored for 8 months, even refrigerated air atmosphere chambers (21% O2) inhibition ethylene response 1-methylcyclopropene (1-MCP). Even long periods time, indices quality loss, physiological disorders rotting are lower on Fuji apples.

in order to study fruit quality changes in apple cultivar gala, related to ripening stage and storage time, an experiment was conducted in a split plot arrangement in randomized complete block design with four replicationsin the area of damavand– jaban for three years. five levels of sampling times in storage were assigned to main plots, and three levels of harvesting times were randomized in ...
متن کاملPhysiological Impacts of Fruit Ripening and Storage Conditions on Aroma Volatile Formation in Apple and Strawberry Fruit: A Review
After a brief description of the ‘‘history of research’’ of aroma volatiles of apple and strawberry fruit, possible reasons for the reduced production of these important quality attributes by particular preand postharvest procedures are given. Among the possible physiological factors in association with reduced aroma volatile production, a reduced ethylene sensitivity, a decline in the rate of ...
متن کاملCultivar and fruit size influence bruise susceptibility and some physical properties of apple fruit
ABSTRACT- For most fruit types, including apples, bruising is the most common type of postharvest mechanical injury. Bruise susceptibility was investigated in 3 commercial cultivars (‘JazzTM’, ‘Granny Smith’ and ‘Fuji’) and among a range of 4 different fruit sizes (commercial counts of 135, 120, 100, and 88) in each cultivar. Bruising was carried out by dropping a uniform round steel ball (110g...
متن کاملIdentification of Differentially Expressed Genes Associated with Apple Fruit Ripening and Softening by Suppression Subtractive Hybridization
Apple is one of the most economically important horticultural fruit crops worldwide. It is critical to gain insights into fruit ripening and softening to improve apple fruit quality and extend shelf life. In this study, forward and reverse suppression subtractive hybridization libraries were generated from 'Taishanzaoxia' apple fruits sampled around the ethylene climacteric to isolate ripening-...
متن کاملQuality changes in sapote mamey fruit during ripening and storage
Physical and chemical changes in sapote mamey (Pouteria sapota (Jacq.) H.E. Moore and Stearn) fruit during ripening and storage at various temperatures were evaluated. Ripening was associated with flesh softening, an increase in soluble solids content (SSC), and a change in flesh color from yellow or pale pink to a dark pink or red. No changes in fruit skin color or in flesh acidity were observ...
